Course content
The course will cover a number of important areas of interest for PhD Scholars preparing a dissertation in tax law, including questions and problems related to:
- Plurality of legal sources in tax law
- ‘Practical’ versus ‘theoretical’ tax law dissertations
- Research in international tax law
- Comparative tax law
- Tax policy considerations in legal PhD dissertations
- Tax law and Economics
There will be plenty of time to discuss the PhD scholars own work and challenges and to get feedback from other PhD Scholars and faculty. A detailed program will be published later.
Adjoining conference
On 25 November 2021 Norwegian School of Economics and University of Bergen will host a conference in Bergen on topical issues within (International) tax law. PhD Scholars attending the PhD course are more than welcome to participate at the conference.
